Church History

TIMA is an ancient Greek word meaning "honour." The TIMA Anglican Parish was named with the hope of becoming a church that honours God. The TIMA Parish consists of three churches: St. Timothy's Bulleen, St. Mark's Templestowe Lower, and St. Stephen's Greythorn.

St. Timothy's Bulleen was established in 1960 and began its Mandarin ministry in 2014 while maintaining its original English worship services. Its members come from asian countries such as China, Singapore, Malaysia, making it one of the multicultural churches in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. In addition to the Sunday worship, ministries such as children's Sunday school, youth group, fellowship groups, evangelism, and community events are also conducted.
